The Property Department offers a comprehensive service to those
involved in sales and purchases and other aspects of property
transfer and disposal. The Department handles a high volume of
transactions with sympathy and understanding.
The Department is housed within a purpose built office and uses
modern technology to ensure efficient handling of transactions.
Head of Department Janet Littlefield is very keenly aware of the
rapid change in the way in which conveyancing transactions is dealt
with and the likelihood of the introduction of electronic
conveyancing within the next 2 to 5 years. Systems are already in
place to enable all transactions to be tracked at every stage and
clients have the opportunity to go on line to keep in touch with
the progress of their own transaction. The Department is able to
offer quality assured service in relation to sales and purchases,
remortgages, transfer of equity and deeds of gift.
The Firm has the benefit of a strongroom for storage of deeds and
offers at the present time, although this is reviewed each year,
the facility for clients to store deeds.
