Our Litigation Department has
extensive experience in all these matters. Our aim is to resolve
disputes without recourse to legal proceedings but if such action
is necessary to pursue it expeditiously. We are staffed by two
qualified Solicitors:
- Alan Horn (qualified 1977) a
member of the Law Societys Personal Injury Panel and the
Association of Personal Injury Lawyers. He is also a member of
the Law Society Child Care Panel.
- Lynne McGonnell, head of the Litigation Department, has been with the firm since 1990 and specialises in housing and property litigation as well as personal injury claims. She is a member of both the SRA Personal Injury Accreditation Scheme and the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers.

Jodie James-Stadden is a
Chancery Barrister who joined Hadaway & Hadaway on the 1st
October 2001, having been in independent practice with Broad
Chare Chambers, Newcastle Upon Tyne. Jodie was called to the
Bar in 1996 and specialises in contentious probate
matters.

Len Mann is an experienced solicitor who joined Hadaway & Hadaway from another local firm of Solicitors in 2007. Len specializes in employment law and personal injury litigation.
He advises employers and employees about employment issues including the drafting of contracts, health and family matters, changes at work, discipline and grievance procedures and Employment Tribunal claims.
He represents people who have been injured as a result of accidents at work, road traffic accidents, trips, slips and falls and industrial diseases such as asbestosis.

Deborah Sinclair graduated from Northumbria University in July 2006 with LLB Hons Exempting Degree in Law. She has been with the firm since November 2006 and works in the litigation department as a caseworker dealing with Welfare Benefits, Debt, Housing and Consumer problems.
To assist clients with work
commitments or who are unable to attend at our offices we are happy
to make appointments either out of normal hours and at weekends or
to see them at home.
