Stuart qualified as a solicitor in 2002 and specialises in all aspects of Criminal Law. He  is a member of both the Court Duty and Police Station Duty Solicitor Schemes.

Stuart is also a Solicitor-Advocate and can therefore represent clients in all criminal proceedings in the higher courts, including Crown Court and Court of Appeal, as well as any judicial review proceedings in any court arising from any criminal case..
