]]> We are looking for a solicitor to join our family department. This is an excellent opportunity to join our well respected law firm based in North Shields.

The ideal candidate will be newly qualified up to 3 years PQE. Your caseload will be varied and you will undertake work in both public and private children matters, divorce and finances, as well as domestic abuse matters.

You will work in a supportive environment in a team with 5 other family solicitors and you will receive regular supervision and training. We are looking for someone who has excellent client care skills, who can meet the demands of a busy caseload and who will work well as part of the team.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a solicitor to join our private client department on a full-time permanent basis.

We are looking for a solicitor with previous experience in private client matters, excellent client care skills, who can work to deadlines and be a strong team player.

You will be responsible for managing a caseload of private client matters including probate and estate administration, lasting powers of attorney, wills trusts and deputyships.

The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years PQE although we will consider applications from candidates who are able to demonstrate the skills necessary to fulfil the role.

We offer a competitive salary commensurate with experience and excellent prospects for career development and progression.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £35,000.00-£50,000.00 per year

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends

Work Location: In person
